Falken Tires
Falken Tire Corporation
Falken Tire Corporation is a business unit of the Japanese-based Sumitomo Rubber Group. Along with Falken Tires, Sumitomo produces tires under the Sumitomo Tires and Dunlop Tires brand names. Falken began producing tires in 1983 and started exporting to the United States in 1990.
Falken offers several different types of tires to suit a variety of vehicles and driving conditions. Falken's "tuner" line of tires is a favorite amongst Honda drivers and features models like the FK-452, Azenis RT-615, Ziex ZE-912, Ziex ZE-329, and Ziex ZE-512. The Falken's tuner tires have a wide variety of features such as all-season performance, rim protection ridges, and relatively high mileage warrantees.
Falken Tire's "motorsports" line of tires features the Azenis RT-615. The Falken Azenis RT615 is billed as a street legal racing tire. The Azenis' motorsports-grade rubber compound allows it to maintain grip over a wide range of operating temperatures. The molded tread design reduces hydroplaning, increases wet weather grip, and also allows for predictable mileage during street usage.
Falken also produces a wide variety of rims to fit several vehicle applications. Rims range in size from 15 inches up to 24 inches and come in several designs and finishes. Falken wheels include the Circuit Spec, Torque 5, Hanabi, Aviator, Executive, Explicit, Koblenz, Marquis, Sceptor, Solaris, and Status.
