2010 Honda Accord Crosstour

"It's been one week since I purchased my wife a new 2010 Crosstour left-over. This is a vehicle that you need to see in person, pictures do not do it justice.We traded in her 2002 Lexus RX300, the Lexus was a fantastic vehicle. My wife and myself are very impressed with the ride and quality of the Crosstour. We can not comment on the reliabilty of the Crosstour yet, it's only been one week.Our Crosstour is fully loaded minus the navigation that option was not worth the extra money to us.

"We purchased the car on Sept. 8 and have driven it 13,000 miles. It is March 3 today. We purchased the 2WD to get the 2 mpg benefit. The seats are very comfortable. The car drives like a dream. It has good performance, if you do not want a race car. We greatly enjoy the increased carrying capacity and my wife likes the idea of having a car instead of a boxy station wagon. We were told the rear visibility was not good, but at 5'6" I have not found that to be true. It is also to change the oil.

Cons: Blind spots in back corners. MPG's lower than reported. Cargo space OK, but shaped oddly. Pros: Nice handling, does well in ice, snow and wet roads. Has a better than average stereo. Exterior I've been driving the vehicle for four months and have really enjoyed it. I was cautious in recommending it to a friend and he bought one anyway and also likes it.

I am loving my Crosstour. I bought the pearl diamond 4 EXL, Sporty look, luxury, Good Sound System, Nice Navi System, as well as Bluetooth. I like the height of the Crosstour, you don't have to kneel down to get into the car, you just slip right on in! When I drive it, it's like riding high, I can see the road. I like it's bulky, strong look. It doesn't look like a cheap Honda. Coming from a BMW that always needing TLC, this Honda is very reliable.

I have had Pilots and Accords in the past which have been very reliable, but this car with the 4WD goes thru the snow without hesitation. Very comfortable to drive and ride in. Like the stow away area in the back. Do appreciate the gas mileage and the way it handles. Great fun to drive."

Pros: Comfort, quality, quiet and Honda reliability. Cons: No HID headlights Summary: Let me start of by saying that I had previously owned a well equipped Toyota Venza. I became irritated with the Toyota's acres of hard plastics and cheap build quality, particularly for an MSRP north of $35k. The materials used in the Crosstour are far superior - particularly the leather seats, and the build quality is in a different league.

Pros: Handling, esp. in snow and ice but dry as well. Very comfortable, long distance cruising a breeze. Cons: I truthfully can think of nothing I don't like about the car. Summary: I had 04 and 08 Accord EX-L V6's with nav. They were good little cars and pretty economical considering the performance. I also have an 08 Acura MDX. It is a great car for long distance cruising....you never get tired or weary. It was always a treat to drive it compared to the Accord.

"Love my Crossstour. Drove an Infiniti SUV for a long time, dreaded trading it but the Crosstour has made me "forget" that car. The interior is roomy, my two 6'4" sons fit beautifully in it with plenty of leg room front and back and headroom is amazing. Alot of safety features, wider and lower base so I don't fear rollover as much. Drives beautifully in the snow. Lots of storage. Handles smoothly. GPS, XM radio, and USB ports along with sub woofers make the sound system wonderful.

Pros: Fuel economy (~29mpg highway), styliing, comfort, price, Honda reliability, and features Cons: No HID's available Summary: I'm confused by the authors review. The author is clearly biased at the looks and seems to have only test driven the car based on his review. The knobs which control the radio/navi are confusing - for the first 10 minutes. Afterwards, it's second nature. The Crosstour outperforms the competition with sleek styling, great fuel economy, and trusted Honda reliability.

Pros: I've never been stopped so often by people so interested in the looks of a car, both when parked and even in traffic. Has clearence and tires of an SUV, handles like my old Audi, good gas milage, city and highway, appointed well, and comfortable. Cons: Not much to dislike.

"It may not have the outward appearance that pleases everyone but I have received many compliments and it's a great car. I wanted good fuel economy, 4 wheel drive, decent power and resale value. I compared to other crossover vehicles and found the Contour to be the best value. Handles well in all weather, it is surprisingly roomy and the ride is quiet."

Pros: Smooth, quiet, powerful ride. AWD. More flexible cargo space than Accord sedan. Beautiful, comfortable interior. Great iPod and Bluetooth interfaces. Cons: Rear view takes some getting used to. Non-Navi models would benefit from rearview mirror w/integrated backup camera. Summary: I was looking for AWD and creature comforts for my long commute. The interior is spacious and comfortable and feels like a luxury car. The ride is smooth and quiet with power on tap when needed.
