After a number of enhancements in 2009, the 2010 Honda Civic remains primarily unchanged for the new model year. Carrying over from last year are the refreshed exterior and interior styling with updated headlight and taillight combinations; new alloy wheel designs for Civic EX, Civic EX-L and Civic Si; and updated seating cloth materials for a more premium interior feel.

"I traded in my 2002 Honda Civic Lx last summer for a new 2010 model. I bought based on past performance, which I should have learned is not true in stocks or cars!!! I didnt like the new dashboard with the split display panel. The speed display is above near the dash and window, disconnected from the tack. What is most dislike about this car is the reduced gas mileage as compared to my 02 model. I have lost six to eight miles per gallon while driving in similar fashions.

Pros:The styling is great and I get a lot of comments.
Cons:The trunk lid doesn't stay up (I get whacked in the head when bending inside to get things). Both back window seals leak and leak, down the outside of the car, after washing/drying the car. The (front) windshield is so large that the sun visors are ineffective. It's like they were an afterthought or addition that the engineers didn't think through. The coat hooks in the back seat hold exactly ONE hanger. They are very nearly unuseable.

"I purchased my 2010 civic coupe in April 2010. I have 8000 miles on it. I average 28 mpg in city and have gotten as high as 42 on highway. I love the red paint job on it. The ex model has plenty of options on it .The radio with 7 speakers will blow you out of car. I have no problem with the power it has, my main concern was starting power at a traffic light.The only thing that has been a slight problem is cleaning the inside windows.

"I purchased my Honda for its reliability and price.and it certainly meets this criteria.I find the exterior styling clean and modern. There is no chrome trim and it gives the car a sleek look.The interior is sparce and the seats are uncomfortable and boxy. I feel awkward and uncomfortable.The instrument panel displays a lot of information and the radio disk player at 120Watts is good.The speedometer and fuel and temp gages are digital and difficult to see.

"I purchased my '10 Civic EX as a replacement for my '00 VW Passat. Going from Passat to Civic was a tough transition, but after 6 months of ownership I know I made the right decision. I researched, compared and test drove every vehicle in it's class and on paper the Civic EX manual is the best- of course it's IMPOSSIBLE to find, so I settled for an automatic (and that's probably the only part I would regret).PROS:*Exterior and interior styling.

Cons:nothing I can think of except road noise(easily reduced by buying good tires) engine design. see below.
Overall review:Great eceonomy car. I love the look and the handling is great. It turns on a dime with minimal body roll. Only thing I didn't understand is why did Honda change their engine from a dohc to an sohc?
Dohc engines have more intake and exhaust valves so they run more efficiently.

Pros:The fuel economy is excellent. 40-41 mpg on the commute which is about 2/3 freeway. The car is fun to drive, handles well, has good acceleration and easy to park. The instrument panel lights are nice and adjustable. Decent room for a coupe... and remember it is a coupe. If you have a family get the sedan.

Pros:Have this car 3 month. Last month drove 3000 miles from Miami to LA with no problem. So far overal is very good car, definetely recomend this car to buy.
Cons:Performance: Braking and handling is very good. Inside: driver side is comphortable and have a plenty space. Quality is good.
Overall review:Acceleration is below with 140hp, but its acceptable and save gas. Have only 1 electric outlet. Total 5000 miles and have no problem.

Summary: If you're looking for a car to save up on gas than this is your car. The price of the car is pretty decent as well. The speedometer is very neat technology. You can see the exact speed you're driving at unlike other cars where you have to guess to see where you're at. Overall I love this car and the gas mpg is the best with a decent price

Interior fit and finishing are very good, though some rattling noise inside the B-pillar, at the passenger seat belt hanger area.
Competitive pricing.
Cons:VERY ANNOYING to start my Civic 2010. I had experienced two failures of starting for the first time, within 10 days owning this brand new car. On both occasions, the outside temperature was merely 15C (~59F) and the CIVIC was left at parking lots between 1 to 4 hours during the day.

"Purchasing a brand new 2010 $19,000+ Civic got me a car with very little power, and no options on it whatsoever. This wasn't even a base model Civic. The base model doesn't even have automatic locks. I rushed into the decision, which was very, very foolish of me. It was by far the biggest mistake I've ever made. I'd expect better out of Honda. I'm sure the car would have been reliable for many years to come, but after 3 months, it had to go.
