Pros: Its no fuel sipping Prius, but its also not as boring. This car won't take the kids to soccer practice, but I tell you what, no matter where you're driving to, you can enjoy getting their fast AND efficiently. I've got the EX with the 6-speed manual and a
Cons: The power is a bit pawltry, but a couple cheap aftermarket mods can bring it up really fast thanks to the VTEC engine and sport mode.

Pros: A two seater (I like this), large cargo area, very good mileage for a "sporty" car - better than most small cars (without the tin-can factor), corners great - it gently suggest that "you could take corner a little faster...," A JOY TO DRIVE!
Cons: Limited rear visibility (you'll get used to it - get those little mirrors on both standard side mirrors and no more blind spot changing lanes), a little extra road noise ( Zeabart sound treatment fixed that for me).
Summary: I have the 6 seed Man

With rising gas prices this car is a breath of fresh air. I don?t get acid reflux at gas stations anymore like I use to. Yes its small and only has two seats but I like the way it handles, it has plenty of power for my city driving and in 3 months has saved me a pile of money.

"I bought the 6 speed EX-w/ navi. Fun to drive. Gets great comments and loads of looks. I already know if the newer version is a non-Hybrid my wife will be driving this one and yours truely will be getting a new car. I had several of the CRX Si models in the 90's and hoped this would be the same. It's close, but not the same. Love the exterior and most of the interior. It still a blast to drive but Honda, please offer a non Hybrid model. Thanks for making driving fun again!"

Pros:Wide choice in power modes. Sport setting should satisfy most buyers and the econ mode for the thrifty. Car handling is excellent with above average cornering. Seating is more than adequate for 6 footers and very comfortable. Gas milage is excellent.
Cons:Entry can be a bit difficult for the taller person and the rear vision is somewhat hampered by the cross bar and the rear roof lines.

Pros: Nice tech inside. Great interior and I'm averaging a little over 38 mpg... in sport mode. I love the sound system and while the nav is older, its iPod interface is nice.
Cons: I miss the standard day/night rearview mirror and homelink. I also wish that Honda would give the option of Sirius instead of XM as I have a lifetime Sirius membership.
Summary: Overall, the CR-Z reminds me of my CR-X. Yes, it doesn't offer the gas mileage of my CR-X, but it offers something the CR-X didn't...

Pros:This car is very sporty looking, quick and nimble (1.5 litre engine) in sport mode and if you want to go economical 'ECON' mode still gets you around without any problem. I've owned mine for a little over 2 months and have averaged 37-38 mpg.
Cons:Vision through the rear window(s) is blocked. Keep in mind that it is only a 2 seater, so those with kids probably not an option.
Overall review:I bought this car for the sporty good looks, fuel economy, and because I was a fan of the 80's CRX.

Pros: It was new
Cons: Less MPG then 90 SI less vroom then 90 SI
Summary: I had this car for a day, i went to the local honda dealer, and explained that i wanted to trade in my 90 SI for it... I had bought the SI with a blown motor and did a B16A2 swap into it... The SI i get on average 33mpg city and 40, 45mpg highway, and it has enough go to roast a lot of other cars on the road. Its old now, and it is starting to show its age with its 400,000 miles on the body and 120,000 on the swap.

Pros: Great style, fun to drive, very good gas mileage without the turbo or need for premium fuel. If you're trying to save money on gas, a Cooper S requires premium and doesn't match the Z's mpg. And not expensive for all this. Plenty of interior space.
Cons: Engine "rubberbands" at times, especially starting from dead stop. Poor side & read visibility. This car really needs a full-time rear and side display.
Summary: This is a fun car to drive. It's not a race car, it's a sporty hybrid.

"I love my new Honda CRZ or Zed as Our local dealership calls them. ( when they said that all I could think of was Bruce Willis's quote from Pulp Fiction Zed's Dead ) Well after driving it Zed is most definitely NOT Dead! I drive it back and forth to work every day and I have to force myself to slow down on the interstate lest I get a ticket. I try to stay under 75 but this sweet little ride just wants to go 85 or more without even trying. My Crz hums along , smooth and quiet.

Pros: Of course miles per gallon (I hit an average 44 mpg on the interstate and 37 in traffic), Sport mode is FUN to drive in. It is like a different car with the added acceleration and tighter steering. It has decent storage space (especially for a 2 seater)

Both the Smart and CR-Z have about the same fuel economy of 36mpg. Both the Smart and CR-Z are very nimble in terms of handling. Both the Smart and CR-Z seat only two people.
