Pretty decent car for the money

"We are on our second Element. The first was a 2006 EX, the second a 2010 EX. The exterior design hasn't changed much other than a few minor tweaks to the front grill/headlight area.Overall the car is nice, but there are a couple things we didn't like about it. First, no color matching door handles. On our 2006, the EX model had door handles to match the color of the body paint (the LX had black plastic handles).

"Best vehicle I've owned in a long time."

Reviewed on: reviews.cnet.com

Pros: Handles well in all rinds of weather, plenty of power, great head room. Even the back seat is comfortable for a big guy like me. Cons: It would be nice to have a USB connector for the stereo system. Summary: I drove Jeep CJs for most of my life and although I loved them they were bumpy, noisy, cold, and rusted away. I've always want an Element since they came out and was finally able to get one last July.

Best value for the money. AWD, practical

"My wife's car. Bought new for under $2300 (EX 2007 model). Stylish, stands out. VERY practical. Reliable, huge cargo space. Plastic floor. Premium stereo with a subwoofer - YUM! No problems for the first 3 years.Sporty handling, although will not accelerate very fast. You can load a lot into it. VERY satisfied. Will buy another one for myself.CONS: front pillars a little too wide - not a problem, just takes some time to get used to."

Pros: Clean, simple design, stereo in EX is excellent (don't listen to the snobbish car reviewers, this is just as good as my Mercedes) , fun to drive with pricise well balanced steering, flexible interior, access cannot be beat, This car does it all. Cons: Would like heated seats Summary: I have 2 vintage Porsches, a Mercedes SUV, Suburban, new Chevy Traverse and a first generation Ford Explorer. I have owned many kinds of cars, and I love the Element.

"box on wheels"

Reviewed on: reviews.cnet.com
Rating: 2.5 out of 5
Pros: roomy box on wheels Cons: it is a box on wheels Summary: design wise this thing is stinkeroo and a big fail but utility wise it is top since it is a big box on wheels with non descript fenders (at least they are the same color now: or is that because this is the hype dup EX model since it pushes $25,000 for a box) and styling I dont know if I would call it "locomotive" styling but it is dull for sure Plus the sound system is mediocre even in the EX model. OH WELL

"Great little SUV"

Reviewed on: autos.msn.com
Rating: 4.8 out of 5
Pros:Very easy entry/exit. Controls intuitive and well designed. Responsive ride. Comfortable. Great interior space (up to about 73 sq. ft.). Just fun to drive. Cons:Let's face it - it ain't the best looking design. That said it looks better everytime you need all that space and it's easy to access thanks to the 'clamshell' door arrangement.

"LOVE my Element!!"

Reviewed on: reviews.cnet.com
Rating: 5 out of 5
Pros: Very spacious and practical. Center compartment doubles as a cooler and the stereo system sounds amazing. The visibility is outstanding, the floors are easy to clean! AND the backseats are stadium seating, and completely fold out of the way! Cons: There are blind spots so double takes are necessary when merging.

"Great Little Honda"

Reviewed on: autos.msn.com
Rating: 4.9 out of 5
Pros:We bought this vehicle three weeks ago and it is great. Very comfortable, our grandkiids fit in the rear seats with booaster seats, no problem, my 81 year old mom has no trouble getting in and out of either the front or rear seats. It gets good mileage for a combination of city/highway driving, so far about 21 mpg. I like the way the seats can be easily reconfigured. I is a Honda and as expected has a quality build and I anticipate a solid vehicle.

"Just purchased my 3rd Element! Love this vehicle! I bought a 2003 EX (which I still own after 120K miles), purchased another 2005 (used) at a great price, drove it for 40K miles and TRADED it in on this 2010 EX. It was a deal I couldn't refuse, HIGH trade in value, good deal on the 2010. My 2005 LX (was Honda certified with 76K miles on it) stayed on the dealer lot for about a week befor it joined another happy owner.

"The Outdoor Life is the Life for Me"

Pros:Utility is the Element's middle name. I can stuff my bike, surfboard, and dog inside for a full day of activities. Plus, I never have to worry about messing up the ruff & tuff interior. Plastic panels get the usual scuff marks, but everything else holds up after multiple camping, fishing, and snowboard trips to the mountains. Cons:Never the first up the hill, but it gets there - eventually. Overall review:The Element totally works with my outdoor lifestyle.

Love this vehicle!

"When we had our first child, we wanted a bigger car. I had been driving a Corolla for 10 years. The Element attracted my attention because of its interior convertibility with the rear seats (can turn it into almost a cargo mini-van), the vast amount of leg room in the back seats, the hose-it-out factor, and the stylishness. The car has exceeded my expectations on every level. I have been able to haul just about anything in the Element that I would have needed a truck for otherwise.
