Pros: The 09 sport model looks sporty, interior is big.
Cons: The car has loud and annoying interior wind noise. Transmission has rattling noise. The car's gas mileage is worse than advertised. I often get 24 mpg or less on surface street driving.
Summary: The car has loud interior wind blowing noise. The noise happens from 30 mph and up. During highway driving, it is so loud that it louder than the music from the radio.

Cons: Transmission searches for gears
Pros: Tons of cargo room and head room for such a small car
Good value overall. Only driver has armrest in center of car, not passenger. USB media hub works very well. Sound is impressive for a Honda. Seats in rear folding up or down is Epic Win! The car would benefit from CVT transmission, although the paddleshifters are great.

Pros:The 5 speed manual transmission is peppy, responsive and fun to drive. Handling is responsive and agile. The cargo space is cavernous. Mechanically, no problems at all. Impressive gas mileage--regularly get 32 to 33 mpg with combined city/highway. Seating is ergonomically designed and comfortable. Price is great for the features offered.
Cons:I dislike nothing about this car.
Overall review:Did an exhaustive vehicle comparison.

All, although I love my 2010 Fit Sport, there is a serious issue with tire selection, particularly for those that live in snowy areas.
Because of all the snow and ice in Maine this year, I decided that I should remove the Dunlop OEM tires, put on higher quality all-season radials.
Other than the Dunlop, which is backordered in many cases, a Honda Fit Sport owner only has two options in the 185 55R 16 size:
Bridgestone Turanzo El 470 ($140 a tire) or a Bridgestone Potenza ($100 a tire).

Pros: We really enjoyed our Honda Fit, for over 2 years: the versatile interior, great sight lines, good fuel efficiency We didn't even worry too much when they issued a recall related to a potential fire hazard...
Cons: Less than 2 weeks after being serviced to remediate the fire hazard... the thing spontaneously caught fire while sitting parked!

Pros: Really comfortable interior. Very flexible design can fit my kids, dog, husband and the all important djembe drum. I love the gas mileage, too. I have been getting close to 30 in the city... better on the highway. The little mpg gauge is great!
Cons: This car is sold without an armrest for the driver. (I have a base model.) They offer a console armrest for a mere $315 installed. Highway robbery. Also, found the whole dealership experience a drag. Come on, Honda.

"I put 39,000 miles on this car in the first 12 months. I had zero maintenance problems. I drove this car to the Florida, TX, New Orleans, California, all originating from Missouri. Now I'm at around 45,000 miles, the Fit runs like new. This is my 6th car. I originally wanted the Accord but I didn't like the Lincoln Town Car feel. I drove a Civic next and I didn't like how low the ceiling is and the small feel.

"My favorite car was the '90 Civic SI hatchback. Lately I've been driving Honda a coupe and missing the hatchback, but the new Civic SI does not appeal to me, and is overpriced. Thinking the Fit would probably be underpowered and too small, I didn't try it until 2010. Yes! This is what was great about the old hatchbacks, and with even more elbow room, cargo space, and utility. Not as zippy as the SI, but has enough power, so it's not an issue.

"My 2010 Honda Fit is my first car so I can get back and forth to college. Living in Florida, you need a car that gets good mileage and this car is wonderful when it comes to the gas. I loved this car from the first time I laid eyes on it and its performance has been excellent since then. Due to the horrible drivers in Florida, my Fit has been 110% reliable in protecting me from accidents and people that tailgate/cut you off here.

Pros:There is nothing like it on the sub compact market. Efficient design in every way. Quality Built. Peppy engine. Fun to drive. The rear seats fold down FLAT. Or you can arrange them any way you want. The american auto builders havent figured that out yet. Its the only sub compact you can get with a Navigation. The Navigation is worth the money. The steering is tight and competent. The car stands alone. High quality paint and materials. Its worth every penny.
Cons:The ride is stiff.
