great car for the money

"This car was the best of a long list I shopped for and many categories I considered. The manufacturers of many cars have gotten better and better over the years but unfortunately the actual process of interacting with dealers hasn't changed much. This would be the only area of the car buying experience I had a problem with and it's a shame that the service hasn't kept up with the products."

Cons: Can't think of a one
Pros: Fun To Drive, Exceptionally Roomy
What a surprise. Tiny on the outside, the FIT is large on the inside, behaving as a small minivan with multiple cargo configurations. And, for such a small car, the headroom and driving position are excellent. The controls are well organized and there are enough cupholders for everyone in the family, and then some. The paddle shifter is a neat innovation, giving the car extra power when you need it.

Cons: Low ground clearance.
Pros: Sporty looking, standard safety features usually found in higher priced vehicles, excellent mileage
Purchased this to replace an aging Scion xB and my wife wanted a vehicle with an AT. This has excellent mileage as she has a 30-mile round-trip commute to work every day. We've had it a week and haven't even used a half-tank of gas yet.
Other reviewers have complained about the comfort factor. I'm 6'2", weigh 210 and have bad knees and hips.

"I've been driving Odysseys for most of the time I've been raising my kids. Now three of 'em are away at college and it's just me and the little guy. So it was time to downsize.I'm a big girl, and while the Civic was a great choice on paper... it just wasn't comfortable. I tried the Fit, even though I thought we were going to have to purchase a car older than 2006 (when the Fit first came out), and it was just right.

Pros:This car is the 41st vehicle I have purchased (4 wheeled that is) It comes down to this. The Fit is capable of about anything you need it to do.I have 4 fillups to date and the mpg is from 34.5-37.5.I choose the manual trans and am quite pleased. This car has a small engine and while Honda does amazing things with small engines, the car is much sportier and has much better performance with the manual transmission.
Cons:My Fit sport is very firm riding with constant feedback from the road surf

"After looking at a long list of cars (all hatchbacks), the Fit kept coming up as the best choice. The Fit is fun to drive. It turns on a dime and is very peppy. The rear seats are amazing. Also, the back doors open at almost 90 degrees, allowing easy access to child seats and getting dogs in and out. The back seats can fold up, so a dog can lay on the floor. Amazingly, I was able to fit an 8-foot piece of wood trim in the car and close the door!

Pros:I love the cupholders! Simple as it seems, the use of the dashboard for cupholders, 2 gloveboxes (one with the USB hookup so my ipod can stay hooked in & out of sight), and simple controls is what sold me. Yes, the car handles on par with my previous sportscar and gets great gas milage, but its the day to day convience of how easy it is to use that make me satisfied with my purchase (I have never seen an easier car to flip the seats both up and down!).

"This is the fourth Honda I've owned - all of them Civics. It is a dream to drive and almost drives itself. It looks small on the outside but is very roomy inside with comfortable seating. There is lots of storage space. The back seats fold down to increase the size of the storage space or the seat folds up for tall items. My only complaint is that the sun visors are too small. I'm only 5'1" and in the late afternoon I have the sun in my eyes."

Pros:I was given this car for my birthday todriveand I love it! The Sport model has everything I need. I always have my iPod with me and the back cargo area is just enough room.
Cons:Since this my first year driving, I don't have complaints.
Overall review:A+ all the way. It's sporty, efficient, and safe!

Pros:Excellent all round vision. gets 31 mpg in city. easy cargo loading.
Cons:Sun visors are cheap ! and do not screen the driver as windshield is high above driver. When the screen is rotated for side window, the visor is TOO high and is useless. The wndshield is not tinted at top as most cars have.
Some wind noise and engine noisey in low gears.
Overall review:Economy and reliability

"Then interior is a great design. The back seats can fold down to make the back completely open, or the bottom of the seat can be folded up for tall items. One back seat has a storage compartemt built in.I do like the car all around, except for the large lack of power. It is the only Honda with the 1.5L. The smallest engine that other modles come with is the 1.8L and the Fit really needs it. I have a stick and to get any go out of it I'm shifting about 7000rpm. The power comes in about 5000rpm.
