The 2011 Honda Odyssey is redesigned for 2011 with more distinctive exterior styling that includes what Honda describes as a tapered cabin and a lightning bolt belt line. Interior changes are aimed at increased comfort, convenience and functionality including a new 3-mode second-row seat design. We purchased this car one week ago and love it. We traded in our faithful 2003 Odyssey and just love the redesigned look of the car and the different features that are now available. We are leasing the EX-L trim line.
The back-up camera comes on when you put the car in reverse. This is a terrfic feature.

Pros: Beautiful exterior and will look even better 5 years from now when others catchup. Drives like a car, very very comfortable ride, alot of power, over the top technology. Come on HDMI, no other vehicle has that today.
Cons: Not free? And no SH-AWD.
Summary: I drove this vehicle for two days and it is just an amazing machine for a minivan. It rides like a car and yet extremely comfortable. Blind spot detection is very helpful and laser guide cruise control is a plus.

Cons: Only one... HEADROOM!!! There needs to be at least 1/2-1" more of headroom. I am 6'6" and what little hair I have on my head constantly grazes the roof of the vehicle. I understand that I will not fit comfortably in every car but c'mon. This is a mini
Summary: We had a 2001 GMC Yukon that we loved but small things were starting to go wrong. Also the MPG was around 12 or 13. We were looking at the odyssey and the sienna.

Pros: Pricey, Low value, bad ride, bad auto transmission, poor handling, short warranty!
EPIC FAIL. Honda usually makes decent looking cars. But, not this hideous thing. Yeah, it's beautiful on the inside. Bit it's a not a woman It's a minivan( I Think). IT"S SOOOOO UGLY. Wow , whom ever designed this thing should get fired. Ask yourself this, Why haven't I seen any new Odyssey on the road?

Pros: By the end of vid, I thought it looked like a decent vehicle to drive daily. We have an '08.
Cons: In the still pics, the rear does look horrible, broken. It's really just the window shape and that door track, not the actual contour of the vehicle. But it decieves you, and ultimately looks hideous.
Summary: I'd consider one if that's what she wants. But not this $44k version. Make it the $27k model for us. Nice entertainment option.

"I really like the van. It is very comfortable, all leather with the NAV. Lots of space and convienence inside. Lots of technology enhancements. From a utility standpoint it would beat any SUV hands down as long as you are not going off road or towing anything large. Now if minivans could over come the stigma of being a minvan all would be right with the world. Who knows though with the styling and features they are putting in them now maybe they will be the must have vehicle again."

Pros:I love the EX model for about $10K less than the touring. Cloth seats are better than leather. Cloth does not burn your behind on the summer and not freeze on the winter.
I do not like oversize or big tires, it cost more to replace, it is harder to replace. I have installed (from a 3rd party) superior sound system and a GPS at a fraction of a cost.
I do not have little children but I have an old parent.

"I only had this car for a few months and I love..... it. I never really wanted to get a mini-van. However, being with my family has caused me to rethink my options. We have a large suv and the gas mileage stinks. Plus the cool looks that this van has inside and out are truly unigue. I am glad that we purchased it. I have had several Hondas and Acuras in the past so I know that this car will be reliable. Way to go Honda you really designed a smart van.

"Bought our first minivan because we were tired of cramming all three kids in the back seat of our sedan. We chose the EX-L for the added features even though the price is a little steep for a van. We love all the room inside and all the different seating configurations. We put the infant car seat in the middle of the second row. Sliding the seat forward to get into the back can be difficult with a larger child seat in the middle, even with the wide-mode feature.

Pros:I have 5 kids the oldest is in 1st grade and the youngest is 6 months. All of them fit with their 5 car seats. Its the only van on the maket that I know of that can do this.
Cons:I had an interior panel that poped look and it was a simple fix. If you take it thru a car wash the sun rool leaks. I asked the Service department about it and they said the seal looked good and if you run it thru a high pressure wash it will leak a bit.
