"I forgot cars can be fun and practical at the same time"

Pros: Of course miles per gallon (I hit an average 44 mpg on the interstate and 37 in traffic), Sport mode is FUN to drive in. It is like a different car with the added acceleration and tighter steering. It has decent storage space (especially for a 2 seater) Cons: Yeah it is tough to change lanes, you better look twice (maybe 3 times to be sure).

"Coming from a MINI Cooper this car had big shoes to fill (so to speak). My MINI simply spent too much time at the shop so I wanted to return to Honda's reliability. The CR-Z is far better for my needs. It is so much more comfortable to drive (even though lumbar support could be better). The seating position, road composure and steering are so smooth for such a small car, and it feels effortless to drive. The MINI was taut and precise, but tiring for long drives.

What's this supposed to be?

Reviewed on: cars.com

"I just test drove the new Honda CR-Z and think it's the biggest waste of money I have ever seen. The CR-Z is niether a good sports car or a good hybrid. The CR-Z's 40mpg leaves much to be desired since even Civics and Corollas can get on average about 35mpg without hybrid technology. The performance isn't even worth mentioning since this car is practically the slowest thing on the road with 0-60 times somewhere over 10 sec.

Dump the Battery?

Reviewed on: cars.com

"Some reviewer claimed the battery pack on this car weighs 400-pounds, and another claims it adversely effects handling. One wonders what would happen to this car if you sold the battery pack to a needy Insight owner, and ran it sans battery pack? Would it handle better? Would performance suffer much with the decreased weight? Horsepower to weight ratio would be roughly equal to my 1981 Prelude without the battery; how bad could it be?"

Big Embarrassment

"First, Honda ruined the original CRX by introducing the Del Sol, now they messed it up again by making the CRZ. It looks pretty good from the outside, but making it into a hybrid has made it a true DOG of a car. Come on, 122 hp and an electric motor with 13 hp will probably outperform a Smart Car or Honda Fit, but not much else. To top it off, this cars a two seater which should make insuring the CRZ even more expensive. I'm totally unimpressed"

Not only did I fit, but I was comfortable too!The sports mode really hauls (for a hybrid) but I'm happy driving in econo mode 98% of the time because there isn't a huge need for anything more when driving in town. Pros: Great style, fun to drive, very good gas mileage without the turbo or need for premium fuel. If you're trying to save money on gas, a Cooper S requires premium and doesn't match the Z's mpg. And not expensive for all this. Plenty of interior space. Cons: Engine "rubberbands" at times, especially starting from dead stop. Poor side & read visibility. "Continued from part 1...So I like the style, the luxuries, the shifting, the ride and the economy of my CR-Z. What don't I like? Well, it does have a massive blind spot to the rear. But adjusting your mirrors properly addresses that. The HID low beams do not light up the road very far in front of you and are a disappointingn upgrade as part of the EX model. And then there is the second "Hybrid" part of the car, the electric motor and batteries.

Cons: Blind spots but who cares! Pros: Fun and sporty! Just bought this car last week! I'm loving it! Heads are turning when I drive by and car is just fun to drive. I do wish I got the 6m model but the CVT is just as fun. The only problem is the blind spots but if you just use your mirrors its no biggie. I'm anxious to see how much money in gas this car saves me! Oh and you can never go wrong with a Honda! Also I love all the haters on this car that don't own one.

Cons: Blind spots Pros: Fuel mileage, Handling, Sticker price, interior design With rising gas prices this car is a breath of fresh air. I don?t get acid reflux at gas stations anymore like I use to. Yes its small and only has two seats but I like the way it handles, it has plenty of power for my city driving and in 3 months has saved me a pile of money.

What Was Honda Thinking!

Reviewed on: cars.com
Rating: 2 out of 5
"I own a 1985 CRX in mint condition and was thinking of trading it in for the CRZ. NOT HAPPENING! When I drove this car, I was shocked. Not only is the CRZ slower than my 25 year old CRX, it only gets about 2-3 mpg more than my CRX. The rear window is so flat that it doubles as a sunroof for the cargo area. For a 2 door 2 seater, this car has the worst visability of any car I have ever seen. The CRZ looks like a miniature of the Insight.
